Scientist Origins

Science / Matter

Logic-first. Where others see chaos, they see patterns. Where others see complexity, they see systems. Four legs and a surface — that's a table. They decide what something is.

The Metaphor

Scientists operate through the lens of Matter and Logic. They perceive reality as a system of classifications, distinctions, and cause-and-effect relationships. Where others see undifferentiated experience, Scientists see categories waiting to be named.

Core Question
"What is this?"
Superpower
Classification & Distinction

Only Scientists can reliably identify what something IS and what class it belongs to. They see distinctions others blur. This is their exclusive gift — the ability to name and classify with precision.

Worldview

The world is knowable. Everything can be understood through systematic analysis. Truth is found through logic, evidence, and careful distinction. Emotions are data to be processed, not states to be inhabited.

How They Operate

Communication Style
Super-rational. Long, precise words. Appears calm, cool, assembled. No visible emotion. Speaks in abstract terms with a well-modulated voice. The Computer — processing information, not expressing feelings.
Energy Source
Clarity. Understanding. Making the complex simple. When a Scientist finally "gets" something — when the framework clicks — energy floods in. Confusion drains them.
Decision Making
Criteria-based. Is it correct or incorrect? Reasonable or unreasonable? Scientists weigh facts, account for the real state of things, use accumulated experience. They ask: "Who said? When? How much?"

Relationships

Conflict With
Visionaries (Magic). Scientists consider Mages "ungrounded" and often don't count them at all. They simply don't see the value in intuition without evidence.
Attracted To
Artists (Emotion). Scientists find emotional intelligence fascinating precisely because it operates by rules they can't systematize. They respect what they can't decode.
Weakest Function
Intuition. Scientists struggle with "just knowing" without evidence. They need proof, data, demonstration. Faith feels like giving up.

Life Philosophy

"The truth is in the structure. Find the pattern, name the parts, and understanding follows. Don't trust what can't be verified."

"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."

Albert Einstein

Creative Approach

Scientists create by building systems. Their content has architecture. Their brand is the framework. They teach through structure — numbered lists, clear distinctions, logical progressions. Their audience trusts their precision.
